These figures are still available at the Playmobil factory, Private customers are able to order any number of parts by ordering at the local "Direct service" (see www.playmobil.nl). Any part that has ever been produced since 1970's has a part reference number; these numbers are available at www.playmobd.org. Most older parts might have become discontinued and no longer in production. In countries you can find conventions where sellers have old sets and parts, also on online auction sites you can find Playmobil, but mostly with prices a little above market.
